UX

The Process that Helps You on Track to Meet the Goals in the Product Design

Design is all around us: from the chairs in our home, to how we read the news, to the screens on our smartphone.

Define project

  • Clarify the problems, business analysis, and requirements of the project

  • Research users’ problems, issues

  • Research competitors and familiar products to see what and how they are doing

  • Brainstorm ideas, solutions

  • Define success metrics and how we judge the success of the project

Define UI solutions

  • Define user stories, user cases

  • Design information architecture, and build UI solutions as user flows, and wireframes (there may maybe more than one finalised solution if we still have assumptions and need usability testing to verify)

  • Check technical issues

Visualize & Prototype

  • Visualise UI solutions for high-fidelity UI

  • Prototype UI solutions if needed

Validate & Finalize

  • Conduct usability testing. If we find major issues via UT with our UI solutions, and we might have to change them all, then we have to get back to step 2.

  • Run AB testing if we have more than one UI solution to choose.

  • Heuristic review

  • Adjust, enhance, and finalise UI

Development

  • Hand off the finalised UI to developers

  • Support the development

  • Build the feature and implement testing
