The Job of A Designer

What does a typical day for a designer entail? What tasks and deliverables are expected upon arrival at work? Note: Creating mockups and prototypes is just a small part of the job.
As a designer, you will be assigned various projects. These could range from adding a new feature to an existing mobile app, mapping and improving a customer’s online shopping journey or working on a large-scale website overhaul. You could be designing an interactive screen experience for a fashion retailer, creating the user experience for a chatbot interaction, or developing a landing page for a burgeoning startup.
In some companies, you may work on a single product for an extended period. Launching a product is merely the start of the journey. There’s substantial work to be done post-launch, such as optimizing flows for better conversion, iterating the design to address user pain points, adding new features, and accommodating evolving use cases and business needs.
Digital product designers need to exhibit perseverance as one key skill. It takes time to make a product successful, and you might spend a considerable period, possibly a whole year, solving the same design challenge.
